Unopened
Hold new deliveries briefly in a dry position outside doors, stairs and heating zones.
DELIVERED · CHECKED · RETURN READY
Boxes become hallway clutter when checking, assembly and returns happen in different places. Bob’s can assemble suitable shelving and a work surface around a clear doorway, private labels and realistic package sizes.

A RECREATION GROUND WITH A LONG LOCAL ROLE
Havering records that Collier Row Recreation Ground opened in 1935 and links north to the Collier Row Green Link beside the River Rom. This is credible context for an established residential area with local recreation, not evidence that a particular household uses those facilities. The council’s adopted Local Plan supplies the current borough-wide planning framework.
Build the brief around actual routines. List recurring activities, the people who need the information and the objects that travel with them. Photograph the intended wall including doors, glazing, switches and alarms. Bob’s can hang a suitable board, assemble shallow organisers and fit ordinary approved hooks once the support and safe reach are confirmed.
GIVE EACH PARCEL A STATUS
A box earns space only while there is a clear next action.
Hold new deliveries briefly in a dry position outside doors, stairs and heating zones.
Keep the product, instructions and small parts together while fit and condition are confirmed.
Place the item, complete packaging, label and deadline in one identifiable outgoing bay.
Flatten recyclable material only after the product is accepted and all components are accounted for.
ONE DIRECTION THROUGH THE STATION
Place the complete parcel in the marked incoming bay and keep the entrance operational.
Check labels, carton count, visible damage and required components against the order.
Move the item to assembly, retention or return without mixing parts between packages.
Remove or obscure labels correctly before packaging enters the recycling or disposal route.

CHECK THE BOX BEFORE OPENING IT
Photograph crushed corners, tears, wet marks and courier labels before cutting tape. Open only by the method stated by the retailer or manufacturer, preserving inserts and component bags until the product is accepted. Use a stable work surface sized for the parcel; do not balance a blade or heavy carton on a narrow shelf. Keep cutting tools secured outside child reach and close them immediately after use.
Match every component to the instruction list before assembly begins. A damaged panel, wrong colour or missing hardware should stay attached to its product record, not enter a general spare box. Photograph serial and batch labels where relevant. If a return is required, rebuild the protective sequence without forcing pieces into the carton. The station should support a clean decision rather than encourage every delivery to be opened at once.
PARCEL-STATION LABOUR GUIDE
The calculator applies Bob’s published weekday labour rates. It excludes products, materials, parking, courier charges, waste disposal and retailer return administration.
KEEP THE EXIT DATE VISIBLE
The last return date is visible without opening the parcel or searching an email thread.
Old barcodes and address details are covered or removed before discarded packaging leaves the property.
Hardware and manuals stay with their product until acceptance or return is complete.

COLLIER ROW PARCEL-STATION FAQ
Measure the largest ordinary carton the household expects and preserve the doorway route; exceptional deliveries can use a separate plan.
Wait until the correct product, finish, parts and operation are confirmed and any return period no longer requires that packaging.
Use secure storage away from children and the parcel edge, close it after each cut and follow the tool instructions.
Only after the complete load, shelf, bracket, substrate and fixing have been assessed; low floor-supported storage may be more suitable.
Send wall and doorway photographs, largest carton dimensions, proposed products and intended loaded weights.
Preserve required return information, then remove or obscure personal details before packaging is recycled or discarded.
USE A RETURN CLOCK, NOT A MEMORY PILE
Write the return deadline and required drop-off method on a removable card attached to the outgoing bay, not directly over the courier label. Keep the receipt or digital reference in the retailer’s normal account and avoid displaying payment details. Check that all parts, instructions and protective inserts remain with the product. Schedule the parcel’s exit rather than allowing it to wait indefinitely beside the door. Once the carrier accepts it, store the receipt electronically and clear the bay. A simple date-led process prevents expired returns, preserves the entrance and distinguishes genuine outgoing parcels from boxes that have quietly become household storage.
MEASURE THE BOX, SHELF AND DOOR TOGETHER
Include loaded weights, organiser products and photographs of the complete route. Bob’s can assess suitable assembly and shelving around a short, private returns process.
